Kayak Bass Casting Rods

Kayak Bass Casting Rods

The crankbait is one of the most versatile lures in any angler’s tackle box because it can cover nearly any depth in the entire water column.  For this reason, we designed two crankbait rods that will allow a kayak angler to cover any depth they desire. The C84566b is designed for throwing shallow runners like the Spro Little John 50s or the KVD 1.5s. Once you start throwing crankbaits that run 10ft+ like the DT10s and DT16s, the C90573b should get the call. Both rods are constructed from carbon fiber and our cranking blanks were designed to match the performance serious crankers require, such as a parabolic bend for great casting distance and excellent hook up ratios.  Serious crankbait anglers require a rod that provides the forgiveness to ensure great hook ups with multiple treble hook baits without ripping the bait out of the fishes mouth.  We prefer crankbait rods constructed of uni-directional carbon fiber because they are extremely sensitive and helps you determine what your plug is in contact with.

One of the funnest, and most effective ways, to catch bass from a kayak is with a topwater lure. The P84469b is the perfect rod for fishing topwater, as well as smaller chatterbaits and spinnerbaits. It was designed to provide the perfect amount of tip with the backbone required. Whether you want to cover water with a buzzbait, slow down with a popper, or throw a spook to schooling fish, this rod will help you do it.

If a kayak angler were to need one casting rod, the M8437 would be that one. This casting rod is designed for  fishing worms, jigs, and spinnerbaits, but it can handle any lure up to 3/4oz. It has the backbone to drive the hook home when dragging a football jig on points, as well as handle the shock of a close quarters hook set in standing timber. The tip is just right for those anglers that love skipping a jig under overhanging trees. The 7′ length is great for pinpoint pitches or long distance launching. The M8437 is the ultimate combination of power and sensitivity, making it a must in any kayak angler’s arsenal.

Cashion Fishing Rods are constructed from carbon fiber and manufactured by a uni-direction process to ensure the carbon fiber is perfectly straight, which prevents rod twist when the blank is under load. The rods are designed with a blank-exposed Fuji Reel Seat which means your hand is in direct contact with the uni-directional blank so you feel everything.  Cashion Fishing Rods have all Fuji Microguides, which give you incredibly accurate casting control, and unbelievable distance.  The smaller diameter of Fuji Microguides prevents wasted energy of the line slapping side-to-side, forcing your line to travel down the rod blank.  Not to mention all our rods contain our exclusive carbon fiber split grip handles, which feel great in your hand. Our carbon fiber grips are more durable than cork or foam, plus they are denser, which allows vibrations experienced at the rod tip to travel directly to your finger tips. The combination of the uni-directional carbon fiber blank, Fuji blank exposed reel seat, Fuji microguides, and Cashion’s carbon fiber split grip handles, makes this the most technologically advanced kayak bass fishing casting rod available.
